FaceIQ Labs pricing: what Basic and Pro cost, what is free, and how refunds work

The numbers are published, just not where you would look. Here they are with what each plan includes, the refund conditions, and how cancelling works — quoted from faceiqlabs.com and dated.

Published 2026-09-17 · ~6 minute read · Editorial standards

FaceIQ Labs costs $24.99 a month for Basic and $49.99 a month for Pro, with a limited free tier. Billed quarterly that is $59.97 and $119.97; billed yearly, $119.88 and $239.88. These figures come from the help-centre article Plans, upgrades & receipts on faceiqlabs.com, read 17 September 2026, which adds: "Prices above are in US dollars; checkout shows the equivalent in your local currency where supported." When we read it, the site's main pricing URL showed no plan figures at all, which is why the price is hard to find by searching.

One identity note before anything else: FaceIQ Labs (the faceiqlabs.com web platform) is not the same product as the "FaceIQ" iOS app priced at $4.99 a scan that our QOVES vs FaceIQ page covers. Different developer, different prices. This page is about the web platform.

Source: faceiqlabs.com/support/plans, read 17 September 2026. The yearly price works out to $9.99 a month for Basic and $19.99 a month for Pro.

The homepage describes the product as analysing "your face across 100+ metrics" with "70+ precise facial ratios" across four pillars, and FaceGPT as the place to "ask anything about your face". Nothing on the pages we read mentions human review: this is an automated product.

2. Refunds: three conditions, all required

The refund policy grants a full refund of your most recent payment only if all three of these hold: it is "requested within 14 days"; there has been "no service usage since paying" — "you haven't generated or unlocked a facial analysis since that payment"; and it is your "first refund", because "the standard policy covers one refund per customer." The terms say the same in one line: "a 14-day refund period for new monthly subscriptions, provided that you have not used the Service since that purchase."

In practice that means the refund protects an accidental purchase, not a disappointing report. Once you run an analysis on a paid plan, the window closes.

3. How cancelling works

Per the cancellation article: "Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for… Cancelling does not cut you off early. No further charges. The subscription does not renew." Your analyses, photos and history are kept, and the account reverts to Free when the period ends. Cancelling does not trigger a refund for time already paid.

4. Who you are paying

The terms of service name the operator as "FaceIQ Labs, Inc., a Delaware corporation". Support is support@faceiqlabs.com. On Trustpilot the profile is unclaimed and sat at 3.0 from 18 reviews when we read it on 17 September 2026 (trustpilot.com); several of the one-star reviews concern billing and refund requests. Eighteen reviews is a small sample, and unclaimed profiles skew negative, so treat it as a signal to read the refund terms first rather than as a verdict.

5. How that compares

On price alone FaceIQ Labs' monthly plans are the most expensive instant option in this list. Its yearly plans are not: $119.88 a year for Basic undercuts most monthly subscriptions if you are sure you will use it for a year.

6. What this page cannot tell you

We read the public help centre; we did not buy a plan, so we cannot describe the checkout, any promotional pricing, or local-currency amounts. Prices change, and this page is dated for that reason. We are a competitor and have said which product is ours wherever it appears. Nothing here assesses the accuracy of FaceIQ Labs' analysis — see is FaceIQ legit? for what can and cannot be checked from outside.

7. Common questions

How much does FaceIQ Labs cost?

Basic is $24.99 a month, $59.97 a quarter or $119.88 a year. Pro is $49.99 a month, $119.97 a quarter or $239.88 a year. There is also a limited free tier. Prices are in US dollars, from faceiqlabs.com/support/plans, read 17 September 2026.

Does FaceIQ cost money, or is it free?

Both. The free tier gives landmark mapping, a side-profile score, 10 harmony ratios and 2 strengths and flaws. The full report with 70+ ratios needs Basic; the action plan, simulations and FaceGPT need Pro.

Can I get a refund from FaceIQ Labs?

Only if all three conditions hold: you ask within 14 days, you have not generated or unlocked an analysis since paying, and you have never had a refund from them before.

How do I cancel FaceIQ Labs?

From your plan page. Access continues to the end of the period you paid for, there are no further charges, and the account reverts to Free. Cancelling does not refund the current period.

Is FaceIQ Labs the same as the FaceIQ app on the App Store?

No. FaceIQ Labs is a web platform at faceiqlabs.com run by FaceIQ Labs, Inc. The FaceIQ iOS app sold at $4.99 a scan comes from a different developer. Check which one you are paying before you subscribe.

Is there a cheaper alternative to FaceIQ Labs?

For an instant automated scan, yes: SoftMaxx's front scan is free and its Pro plan is $19.99 a month, and several app-store raters cost a few dollars a week. For a human-reviewed report the comparison is QOVES at $150 a year.
