A QOVES before-and-after is a projection, not a photograph of a result. The membership includes "before-and-after visualizations of your potential improvements": the team morphs your own photos toward the protocol's recommendations so you can see the direction of change. QOVES's footer disclaimer states it plainly — "some images on this website are digitally generated to illustrate potential changes in appearance. Your results may vary." The homepage's projection widget is labelled Before · Projection for the same reason.
The other kind of before-and-after — a person's actual face after months of following the protocol — exists mostly in Reddit threads and YouTube videos by buyers, and those are the ones worth reading before you pay $150. This page explains what the visualisations are, what buyers say the real changes were, and how to judge any before-and-after image, QOVES's or anyone else's.

1. The two things "before and after" means at QOVES
1. The visualisation in the report. Part of the $150 membership. Your uploaded photos are morphed to show where the protocol is pointing — a slimmer midface after weight change, a different hairline, a brow shape, a jaw after posture or, in the $180 surgical add-on, after a procedure. It is an illustration of intent. QOVES's own contact page carries the disclaimer that such images are digitally generated and that results vary.
2. The change a member actually makes. The membership includes "continuous biometric tracking": you re-submit photos over the year and the measurements are re-run. That is the real before-and-after, and it depends entirely on what you did in between. QOVES also says "most of the changes we showcase can be approached without surgery" — the protocol is grooming, skin, hair, styling, weight and posture first.
Buyers who expected the first kind to be the second kind write the sharpest reviews. One September 2026 Trustpilot reviewer felt they looked better in real life than in the "after" photo they were sent — a complaint about the morph, not the advice.
2. What real buyers report
The most-read first-hand accounts are on r/QOVESStudio, the subreddit for the YouTube channel, and Google ranks them above every review site for "is qoves worth it". Read on 2026-09-14:
- "For people who have gone through with the Qoves facial analysis…" (about four years old, 60+ comments) — the long-running experiences thread; commenters credit the team for turning a research meta-analysis into customised diagrams and a report.
- "Just got my qoves analysis back, here are my thoughts" (about 11 months old, 90+ comments) — the poster found each page long and detailed, liked the visual charts, and said it quieted a nagging self-critical voice.
- "Received My Qoves Report — My Thoughts" (about 7 months old, 40+ comments) — includes the most useful correction in the whole subreddit: the headline score measures how close you are to your own potential, so a 71 means "almost there", not "7.1/10".
- "Your experience with QOVES report??" (about 4 months old, 40+ comments) — a prospective buyer asking how others were perceived; the replies are the usual split between "thorough, worth it" and "expensive for a formula".
What is notable across all four: almost nobody posts a photographic before-and-after of themselves. The threads are about the document. Results, where reported, are the slow kind — hair, skin, weight — over months.
3. How to read any before-and-after image
Five checks that apply to QOVES morphs, app-store "you as a 10/10" filters, and surgeon marketing alike:
- Same lighting, same lens, same distance? Most of the visible difference between two photos of the same face is camera. A 24 mm phone lens at 30 cm widens the nose and midface; a 50 mm equivalent at arm's length does not.
- Same expression and head angle? A slight chin-down tilt lengthens the midface; a smile raises cheek fullness. A morph holds these constant, which is precisely why it looks cleaner than real life.
- Is it a morph or a photo? QOVES tells you ("digitally generated"). Many apps do not.
- What changed, in numbers? A real before-and-after can be stated as ratios — canthal tilt, facial-width-to-height, midface ratio — before and after. If nobody measured, nobody knows.
- How long did it take? Skin and hair change in months, weight in months, bone not at all without surgery. Anything faster is styling or the camera.

4. Where to see real QOVES samples
QOVES does not publish a full sample report on qoves.com; the homepage shows a projection widget and fragments. The places buyers share theirs are r/QOVESStudio (search the subreddit for "report" or "analysis"), YouTube reviews (search "QOVES analysis results"; several 2025–2026 videos walk through a real report page by page, and at least one long-form reviewer was comped by QOVES and discloses it), and the company's Trustpilot page, where reviewers describe contents without images. If you want to know what the document looks like before paying, the YouTube walkthroughs are the closest thing to a sample.
5. What this page cannot tell you
What your own report would show — the morphs are made from your photos and your protocol. Whether following the protocol produces the projected change — QOVES says results vary, and nobody has published outcome data.
